DVD Duplication vs Replication? Whats the difference?
We offer a DVD duplication facility, DVD duplication is the process of taking a blank DVD or CD and burning information onto the disc using duplication towers. The advantages to duplication are fast turnaround times and low order quantities, we can do a single copy or thousands of copies. Printing direct to disc is done using inkjet printers on a white disc surface. We only use Verbatim optical media, it has proven itself to be the most reliable by far.
Replication on the other hand is the process by which a DVD is produced from the ground up. It starts with a glass master being produced, from there machinery makes a perfect copy of each disc. The advantages of replication are that one can screen print direct to the disc. The disadvantages are that you usually have to order minimum quantities in excess of 1000.
We offer a DVD Duplication and CD Duplication facility, we offer quick turnaround times and the options of full colour disc, insert and sleeve printing, any quantities. See our prices page for more information, or contact us to discuss your requirements.
